The FIBA Zone V basketball championship kicks off from September 21-28 at MTN Arena, Lugogo in Kampala Uganda. The tourniment will bring 11 countries from east and centeral Africa; Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eriteria, Djibouti, Egypt and for the second year running Somalia will be represented.
Team Somali with players from USA, Canada, Somalaia and Australia have been in Kampala for the last 2 days, climetising and practicing hard.
Most of the players are competing at this tournament for the second time from last year in Tanzania when team Somalia managed get to the quarterfinals, but with few addictions and the expariance gained from Darussalam they hoped to go further this year.
Tomorrow the line up will be announced as well as the fixture.
